2001 Boise River Festival

If You See This Car, Show Respect!
It is Allan Phillips' Silver 1987 coupe with a Cadillac Northstar V-8.
July 01

Hello all members of the S.W.I.F.T club.

As you all should know by now Pat & Jackie Depin have relocated to Idaho Falls due to a promotion in Pat's job. I want to THANK Jackie Depin for holding the Secretary position for our club and let both Pat & Jackie know they will truly be missed as members.
As for filling the club Secretary position Marilee Heindselman has accepted to finish out the term for the club. Thank you Marilee!

Paul Heindselman has updated the Club Web site. If you have access to the Internet please check it out. If you have any comments our suggestions please let myself or Paul know so that he can make any changes.

The WestFest 2001 car show is almost here. I encourage all members to attend this event. It is planned for the 10th, 11th and 12th of August. Last year was a lot of fun and we had a good club turn out. I'm sure this year's festival will be just as enjoyable if not better. I look forward to seeing you in the Tri-Cities.
That's all for now.

Respectfully yours,
Marcie McGinty
Club President

GOOD NEWS On the road again

Bill Grant's black 1985 SE is running again after an extended rest. The car, not Bill. The culprit was a bad fuel pump.

Gene Koozer's red 1984 SE is no longer leaving oil tracks in parking spaces. It took the entire tube of gasket maker on the oil pan, but at least it sealed this time. A new starter and new high energy ignition coil even made so that it could get from one parking space to another.
